13th anniversay of Marechal Mobutu's death

On the 13th anniversary of the death of Marechal Mobutu and his coming birthday anniversary, I think we, Congolese people have an obligation to recalls his good works for Zaire (DR Congo), Africa and the World.

Marechal Mobutu has been an inspiration to many of us, politicians or not. He played his role and many of us have been prepared to continue his work because they have been inspired by Mobutu.
Marechal Mobutu has changed the course of history to make the Republic of Zaire a safe place to live in.

Today, however, we are celebrating the anniversary of his death 13 years ago in Rabat Morocco. Marechal Mobutu died far away from DR Congo, his country to which he dedicated his life and whose liberation from imperialism he contributed significantly.

Today, Marechal Mobutu’s death should teach all politicians in DR Congo in particular one important fact of life: “A life lived for and with people is everlasting whilst a life lived for one ends with one’s death”.

Today, le return of Marechal Mobutu’s body to DR Congo and his burial at Gbadolite will fulfil his great desire to be buried in his country and belong his family.
It is important to remember and honor him.

Tribute for Marechal Mobutu

TRIBUTE FOR MOBUTU

Paying tribute to this enigmatic leader Mobutu Sese Seko, Marechal of Zaire can bring to mind many imageries, impressions and events — some pleasant, some poignant, some tragic, depending on one’s perception of what went into the making of the metaphorical eulogy “Marechal Mobutu, I will be missing you”

It will not take a hundred years to thank God for Mobutu Sese Seko. But why? Not because he was so admired or so beloved? But because of who he was.
He believed in peace in Congo so he acted on behalf of its values and ideals. He believed in tomorrow therefore the great communicator became the great liberator.
Marechal Mobutu was opposed to war. He devoted his life to peace, justice, territorial integrity, national unity and the dignity of our great country, Congo Democratic.
It will not be enough for us Congolese people to mourn him and to show our respect for him.
It is our duty to work to achieve the goals that he set.
